Headlining the Palm Springs, Calif., music festival on Sunday, the 45-year-old hip-hop star opened the pop-up eatery, “Mom’s spaghetti,” taken from the lyrics of his 2002 hit track, “Lose Yourself.”
Located in the general admission area, the pop-up sold a $9 takeout container of spaghetti, $12 with meatballs, as well as a spaghetti sandwich for $11, according to the Los Angeles Times. The food was crafted by a local commissary kitchen.
Prior to his set, Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, posted a shot of a billboard advertising the snack stand Friday on social media. Fans also shared their own experiences at the stand, posting the menu featuring $15 “Rabbit” vegan balls, named after the rapper’s character in 2002’s “8 Mile.”
Eminem first gave fans a taste of “mom’s spaghetti” last December in Detroit, hosting a pop-up event in support of his new album, “Revival.”
