Previous Key League Baseball Players Die In A Auto Accident In Venezuela
Former Main League Baseball players Luis Valbuena and Jose Castillo were being both killed in a vehicle accident on Thursday night, a spokesperson for their Venezuelan team, Cardenales de Lara, verified.
Valbuena was 33, when Castillo was 37.
The crash occurred following Valbuena and Castillo remaining the University Stadium at Caracas subsequent them participating in a video game in the Venezuelan Skilled Baseball League. Venezuelan authorities reported that their car or truck went to the reverse side of the road while they were being hoping to prevent a sliding rock nearby.
The players had been en route to the city of Barquisimeto, wherever they ended up planning to enjoy against Bravos de Margarita on Friday, later on that wekk.
Valbuena played 11 seasons in the majors, including his last two with the Los Angeles Angels, who unveiled him back again in August. Through his job in the MLB, he also performed with the Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros.
Castillo performed in the majors as very well, from 2004 to 2008. He has performed with the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants and the Astros.
