This is the bizarre moment a live TV report from outside a major cannabis factory was interrupted by a man carrying a conspicuous potted plant — who panicked and sprinted out of shot.
The hilarious reaction was captured during a piece by local news reporter Cameron Tucker.
As Tucker reported on a major seizure of marijuana by Kent cops, the man suddenly walked into shot behind him – carrying his giant plant.
For reasons that are unclear, the man stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the TV crew – before sprinting off out of shot in an apparent panic.
Tucker, who was in Hoath, near Canterbury, England gamely carried on with his report into the conviction of Yvette and Neil Hartley after the unexpected cameo.
Cops found 88 cannabis plants growing at their £500,000 ($674,000) thatched cottage, but the pair narrowly avoided prison with a suspended sentence.
During the live feed report for local new site KMTV, Tucker said: “Little did their neighbors know that in this quiet pretty little corner of the Kent countryside, the cottage just over my shoulder has been where they had been growing cannabis.”
Kent Police are aware of the footage but say they do not know of any crimes that have been committed.
It’s not known whether the incident was real or staged — but either way, it made for a hilarious cameo.
